Kyjivo cutlet with crispy fries by @cukrinisavinelis

When you need to cook dinner for the family and you only have half an hour, Food Stories can always help. This time, Berta (IG @cukrinisavinelis)’s kitchen is dominated by the popular Kiev cutlets with crispy mashed potatoes. A combination that will definitely please even the most demanding taste buds!

  • A few potatoes
  • A pinch of salt
  • A sprig of rosemary
  • A few cloves of garlic
  • A few sprigs of thyme
  • A little olive oil

Step 1:

  • Boil the potatoes with their skins on – season with salt and a sprig of rosemary while boiling.

Step 2:

  • Put the boiled potatoes in a baking tray and mash lightly. Add the garlic cloves, season everything with olive oil, a pinch of salt and thyme.

Step 3:

  • Put the prepared potatoes in a 200 degree oven and bake for about 10 minutes.

Step 4:

  • When preparing with Kiev cutlets, put them in a tray with lightly browned potatoes and bake everything for about 10 minutes. The potatoes will brown even more during this time. Delicious!
